In conjunction with Behind the Cloud: Interrogating Digital Technologies, TLP’s Spring exhibition, Intervenxions will publish a series of texts focusing on the following themes and topics:

• Algorithms
• Artificial Intelligence / Machine learning
• Web 3 / Decentralized platforms
• Incarceration / Detention / Abolition
• Facial recognition
• Surveillance / Policing / Militarization
• Privacy / Data
• Social media / Networks
• Memes / Memetic aesthetics / Virality
• Deepfakes
• ASMR

Please send all pitches (no more than 250 words) to latinxproject@nyu.edu by January 30, 2023. Include a brief biography (100 words or less) with your pitch.

Selected contributors receive an honorarium for original essays.

This is open to all, not only NYU students. Honorarium for up to 1500 words is $300 and for this special issue up to $500. Pitch via latinxproject@nyu.edu
