Pitches wanted (pregnancy) | $200+ per article
Added 2022-12-28 13:22:42 +0000 UTCCOMPANY/PUBLICATION: PARENTS
Amelia Edelman, Senior Editorial Director at Parents, is looking for pitches:
In 2023, we at Parents will be assigning one article for each week of pregnancy. These will be science-backed explainers with a personal twist: the unique added perspective of YOU as a parent and/or formerly pregnant person (and writer).
Did you grapple with difficult NIPT results week 9? Find out you were having twins week 20? If you are an experienced health/parenting reporter and one particular pregnancy week speaks to you, please email your pitch to amelia.edelman and anna.halkidis at dotdashmdp.com
Please note that the primary purpose of these articles will be service reporting: explaining to the pregnant reader in depth what tends to be going on in pregnancy that week. Your personal experience/expertise/anecdote will be incorporated as a callout or addition.
CONFIDENTIAL NOTE: Reports indicate that this opportunity will pay $200+ per article. It is recommended that you discuss the rate(s) with the editor prior to commencing work.
