Organizational Tutors is seeking a motivated, fast-paced copywriter/editor. This is a remote 1099 independent contractor position with the potential to expand to a W-2 position over time.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Tasks include but are not limited to:
- Drafting and editing content for external facing communications such as newsletters, network announcements, social media, and marketing projects
- Authoring original blog posts, and editing blogs from guest contributors
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
The candidate should be extremely detail-oriented, conscientious, receptive to feedback, skilled with grammar, syntax, rhetoric, and citations, and able to commit this opportunity for a year or longer.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Comfort with Google Workspace and Mailchimp
- Experience in graphic design is a plus
- Experience in psychology and education (directly or through client work) is also a plus
COMPENSATION
Compensation for the position is project-based. We pay $100 for each blog post, around 750 words, and $75 for landing pages on the website. The project fees include one round of edits.
