KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Review industry data and research to build story outlines with guidance from editor
• Develop detailed content briefs and outlines with select background information
• Create interview questions and conduct interviews with subject matter experts
• Write articles and blogs roughly 1,000-1,400 words in length
• Work closely with content editors through all stages of development
• Adapt workflow as needed to incorporate steps within content management system

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

• Five-plus years’ experience in personal finance writing for consumers
• Portfolio of relevant samples for review
• Knowledge of trends and products in the consumer lending industry
• Excellent grasp of content marketing best practices
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
