Kristen Han, Managing Editor at Mekong Review, is looking for pitches:

Our team is looking towards the May issue now, and we're open for pitches.

You can find a pitching guide here, to give you an idea of what we're open to: https://mekongreview.com/mekong-review-pitch-guide/ We'll always have a place for more academic/policy analyses, but I'm especially interested in Asian voices that might not have much space or platform elsewhere.

As an editor, I'm willing to work with someone who might not have much writing experience, but has a compelling story or insight to share. As a quarterly, Mekong Review can afford to spend a little more time on finessing a piece than others who have a more intense schedule.

We currently pay US$250 for a piece of at least 1,500 words, or US$150 for articles below 1,500 words.
