Feels like a good time to say we're always looking for pitches at DAME. Generally, we'll look at anything—but we're always interested in features that explore systems, economic topics, climate solutions, social science, culture.

DAME journalism is accessible and intersectional. We’re not interested in breaking news. Instead, our stories transparently and thoroughly explain the context of what’s going on, what’s currently at stake, and who’s most affected.

We pay $350 to $750 for reported stories, depending on the length and level of reporting.
