PITCH CALL: I’m seeking stories about Black history in the Hudson Valley and/or Catskills. Note: Black HISTORY, not profiles of Black-owned businesses or leaders (pitch those anytime).

Email is phillip.pantuso@timesunion.com. I also have a couple stories to assign. Rate will be 0.25/word.

Not a hard deadline, but the stories need to be ready to publish in February, so I think it would be hard to land the pitch later than, say, February 10.
