Pitches wanted (stories with Hopkins angle/link) | $1 per word
Added 2023-02-28 16:39:43 +0000 UTCCOMPANY/PUBLICATION: JOHN HOPKINS MAGAZINE
Greg Rienzi, Senior Editor for John Hopkins Magazine, is looking for pitches:
I am looking for feature pitches with a Johns Hopkins angle. All subjects. DMs fine, just zero in on narrative.
What makes a good story for Johns Hopkins Magazine? There needs to be a Hopkins link. Beyond that, there’s no hard-and-fast recipe. We run profiles about alumni doing fascinating things: wildlife ecologists, figurative painters, media moguls. Excerpts from books written by Hopkins authors. In-depth reports on cutting-edge research being done by faculty and students. Historical looks at people and events that shaped Hopkins. News stories about events shaping Hopkins today.
CONFIDENTIAL NOTE: Reports indicate that this opportunity will pay in the $1 range. It is recommended that you discuss the rate(s) with the editor upon the acceptance of your pitch.
