Remote Ecommerce Product Copywriter wanted | $45 to $50 per hour (part-time)

ABOUT THE JOB

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a on call Ecommerce Product Copywriter to join our Advertising Production team. This individual will create creative and engaging product copy across multiple channels in support of our brand vision. Product copywriters are responsible for describing online product for the customer, creating a unique and engaging online shopping experience.

WHAT YOU’LL DO | KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Deliver strategic, engaging, concise, and accurate Ecommerce product copy for all brands.
• Be comfortable creating in a fast-paced, high-volume writing environment.
• Collaborate with the Managing Copywriter/Editor and other writers to meet strategic goals, evolve brand voice, create consistency, follow brand guidelines, and employ effective retail messaging best practices.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, English, Creative Writing, Advertising, or related field and a minimum of 5 years of experience in copywriting.
• Stellar communication and written English skills, including good spelling and grammar
• Have a love and feel for language
• Experience working for creative agency or in-house marketing/creative team
• Previous experience in writing product copy
• Previous experience writing about fine clothing and leather goods
• Offer a meticulous approach to work and an eye for detail
• Ability to meet tight deadlines and work on multiple projects simultaneously
• Proactive, fun and hardworking with a positive outlook
• Creative problem solver who thrives on collaboration
• Flexible and able to adapt to the changing needs of the business
• Must be self-motivated and have the ability to work independently
• Must provide at least five examples of your work, available online

ADDITIONAL PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Passion for menswear and fashion a plus
• Big brand experience a plus
• Familiarity with File Maker Pro a plus

WORK ENVIRONMENT, PHYSICAL & MENTAL DEMANDS

• Ability to sit and work at a computer keyboard for extended periods of time
• Ability to stoop, kneel, bend at the waist, and reach daily
• Able to lift and move up to 25 pounds occasionally
• Must utilize visual acuity, speech and hearing, hand and eye coordination and manual dexterity necessary to operate a computer and office equipment
• Up to 40 hours per week, as work dictates, from a Remote location.

Salary range minimum is $45.00 per hour and maximum is $50.00 per hour. This salary range is specific to Colorado and New York and may differ in other locations. We take into consideration an individual’s skills, background, and experience in determining final salary. Base pay information is based on market location.
