Writers wanted (HR space) | 15-20 cents per word

I'm Stephen, one of the co-founders of BeamJobs. We're a 100% remote team helping hundreds of thousands of job seekers each month build and improve their resumes to help them get more interviews.

Content is the backbone of our company. More specifically, we write resume how-to guides targeted for a wide variety of professions (ranging from software engineers to accountants to HR to maintenance workers).

When we first started in 2020, I was the one writing all these guides but we now have an exceptional content team in place and are really scaling up our content efforts.

ABOUT YOU

You have experience writing for both technical and non-technical audiences. With some research you could write a guide on how to build a data engineer resume for example.

You maintain a very high level of quality and respond to feedback well. You don't need to be given the same feedback multiple times.

You have a portfolio you can point to to showcase your work.

You meet your deadlines. Of course, life happens sometimes but missing deadlines we both agree on should be a rare exception.

You're pleasant to work with. We work hard to make sure everyone on our team treats each other with respect and kindness.

You have the capacity to scale up to writing 8-12 of these guides each week (total of 700-800 words per guide)

In the email, include a link to your portfolio/ writing samples and your rate (in $).

If it's a good fit, we'll get you started with a paid trial assignment and take it from there.
