Leif Skodnick, Editor in Chief of Worldbaseball.com, is looking for pitches:
We cover baseball around the world and in the United States in English, and are seeking knowledgeable contributors.
If you live outside the United States and want to pitch me a story about baseball where you are, you can email me at leif@worldbaseball.com. If you live in the United States, you're welcome to pitch me baseball stories that you think are interesting.
You don't have to be a professional journalist, though having knowledge and contacts in the baseball world is certainly helpful. You don't have to be an advanced stats geek, though if you can explain your analysis well, by all means, geek out!
If you can tell a good story about baseball, baseball people, and baseball culture wherever in the world you may find it, we're interested.
Did I mention that we will pay you? We will pay you. As a professional and an adult with a life outside of work, I fully understand that you can't eat exposure. The lowest we will pay for a short piece is $100. We’ll go up from there for reporter features and deep analysis depending on length and depth.
Please check out out work at http://WorldBaseball.com. If you'd like to contribute, shoot me an email.
