Added 2023-03-31 11:44:40 +0000 UTCCOMPANY/PUBLICATION: DAD FIXES EVERYTHING
Deadline: 21 April 2023
Evan Porter, Editor at Dad Fixes Everything, is looking for pitches:
We are looking for really talented parenting writers to pitch personal essays (How i overcame xyz parenting struggle), opinion pieces (Why Bluey is the best show on television), non-breaking news (This cool thing related to parenting happened last week), and smart unique lists (11 surprising benefits of screen time). "Excited to hear some fresh ideas and great stories that don't shy away from the messiness of parenting, how hard and ugly it can be sometimes, and if you can bring a sense of humor to it all, that's a huge bonus! $150 for ~1000 words. Really looking for writers with published clips in the parenting space, but anyone with a great pitch is welcome. Prefer writers who have experience as a parent or primary caregiver. International writers welcome. Email me at evan@dadfixeseverything.com with links to published clips in the parenting space or any sort of work that proves you'll be able to execute the pitch well. If you don't have published clips, tell me a little about your writing background and why you're interested in telling this story. In the subject line please put "Pitch for Dad Fixes Everything".
