At Barn Raiser, we are looking for stories on rural America, reported and opinion, covering many topics but this spring 2 in particular: libraries and transportation. Pitches can be sent to editorial@barnraisingmedia.com.

Here is a little more detail:

• Rural libraries: libraries as community resource, social service center, etc., library funding, library possibilities, as well as book bannings
• Rural transportation: how to improve biking and transit in less dense areas, EV charging, role of Amtrak/buses, etc.

Rates: $500 for reported, $200 for opinion (typical length 1000-1200 words). Q+As or book reviews in between.
