Writers wanted for restaurant blog | ~10+ cents per word

Are there any New Jersey writers out there who can put together engaging, well structured & SEO optimized content? In particular North Jersey. That’s highly preferred but if you look at the social accounts on my bio you can see the business and even if you’re outside Jersey but think you can write content my customer base would enjoy, message me.

The blog isn’t live yet. I’m waiting until I have enough content to confidently go live with a solid base of pieces stockpiled and then be able to post at least once a week going for no real end in sight. We’re a restaurant and I’ll track everything for a year, adjust as needed and at the end, if it’s not “working” I’ll stick to more visual content/community hub type stuff.

I haven’t found too many restaurants using blogs, certainly not well at least in my surrounding area. Would love a link if someone knows of one anywhere.

I struggle with topics that my customers/potential customers would appreciate (besides the obvious). So hopefully you can help with that, highly preferable but not a requirement. I have multiple tools to assist you as far as optimizing for SEO- keyword research, creating a brief, topic research, content audit, etc. I also have strong digital media- video, graphics, etc skills, so I’d love suggestions in the pieces of [include infographic or video of blanks here].

As far as price, all I can say I’m sure we could reach a fair deal for both parties. I’ve never hired a freelancer before. I used to use ContentFly.com but they got sold to Draft.co which looks like it is going at $150 for 1500 words- I got grandfathered in and can’t remember exactly what I’m paying but will be canceling soon as the content is so variable in quality. Then yesterday I had a call with a different content company and their prices were outrageous. So here I am.

I pay fair, feel free. To research the business- not strapped or cheap. I will research what fair pricing is and considering the things I’ve mentioned (strategy most importantly- and I don’t just mean KW research by that), heavily consider your proposed price and we’ll make a deal. I am also willing to accept proposals for a set price you may have that are firm.

This would be a one off job at first but if we’re a good match- and that is the intention, than more of a long term arrangement. Anyway, please let me know. Thanks for reading!
