Samantha Campos, Editor at East Bay Magazine, is looking for writers:
EastBaymag.com is looking for freelance writers who live in the East Bay to write about the people, places and things that power our region. If interested, please send a short bio with 2-3 writing clips to editor@eastbaymag.com.
Rate: 20 cents per word. Stories run from about 300 to 1400 wordsโmost are 1000-1200.
APPLICATION CHECKLIST: Unless otherwise stated, include (1) a cover letter explaining how you meet the requirements or why you are the right fit for the job; (2) a one-paragraph summary of your relevant experience, credentials and publication credits; (3) your strongest clips or links to published work; and (4) a resume detailing your writing experience.
