Paul Bucci, Executive Editor at New Canadian Media, is looking for journalists:
New Canadian Media is currently seeking freelance journalists based in Atlantic Canada to write about immigration and newcomers in the region.
Our ideal candidates are journalists or senior journalism students who can find and write original stories about the passions, struggles, and triumphs of newcomers in a compelling and accurate way. We are looking for stories not found on other platforms.
Freelancers will be compensated $200 to $300 per piece (about 700 - 750 words).
To apply, please submit a few unique ideas that you could write about right away and some links to your previous published work.
