STORY PITCHES WANTED!
Hidayah has been awarded funding for a project that has been long in the making. It's a book project called Queering the Ummah. In short, it's a collection of stories exclusively by LGBTQ Muslims, which can then be published as a book. Best of all, it's paid!
We are seeking story pitches for this collection. A pitch isn't a fully written piece but rather a summary of what story you had in mind.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We have the funding to pay each writer £170, a flat fee for pieces that are between 1200 and 4000 words in length. This is conditional to you submitting and editing your story on time.
With this in mind, if you identify as LGBTQIA+ and as Muslim, we would love to receive your pitches! We have a set number of writers that we can commission, and we may not be able to reply to all pitches. First time writers are very much welcome.
