Our award-winning wines are produced by winemaker Isadora Frias in collaboration with other great winemakers including Mari Wells Coyle and Rob Mondavi Jr. Our Estate vineyard and winery is in the heart of Napa Valley. Since launching in 2007, ONEHOPE has grown from a public storage unit to one of the top 250 wineries of 10,000+ in the US. We aim to be the largest direct to consumer wine brand in the nation.

ONEHOPE Wine is seeking a skilled and creative Freelance Copywriter to join our marketing team. As a Copywriter, you will be responsible for crafting compelling and persuasive copy that effectively communicates the brand's message and engages our target audience. Your writing will be used across various marketing channels, including but not limited to websites, social media platforms, email campaigns, product descriptions, and promotional materials.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Create engaging and persuasive copy for ONEHOPE's marketing initiatives, maintaining consistency with the brand voice and style guidelines.
• Collaborate with the creative and marketing team to develop effective content strategies that align with business goals and target audience.
• Write clear, concise, and compelling product descriptions that highlight the unique taste profiles of our wines.
• Craft persuasive sales copy for promotional campaigns, including email newsletters, social media posts, and digital advertisements.
• Conduct thorough research to understand target audience preferences, industry trends, and competitors' strategies, and incorporate these insights into your writing.
• Proofread and edit your own work, ensuring accuracy, grammar, and adherence to brand guidelines.
• Collaborate with graphic designers and other team members to ensure copy and design work harmoniously to deliver impactful marketing materials.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging platforms, and best practices in copywriting and digital marketing.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Proven experience as a Copywriter, preferably in the wine industry or related fields.
• Excellent command of the English language, with exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
• Ability to adapt writing style to match different target audiences and marketing channels.
• Strong research skills to gather information and understand the wine industry, consumer behavior, and market trends.
• Familiarity with SEO principles and keyword optimization for web content.
• Creativity and ability to develop innovative ideas that resonate with consumers.
• Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficiency in using digital tools and platforms, including content management systems (CMS), project management tools, and collaboration software.
• A portfolio of previous copywriting work demonstrating versatility, creativity, and effectiveness.
• Please note that this is a freelance position, and the successful candidate will work remotely on a project basis. Working hours and compensation will be negotiated on a per-project basis.
