Added 2023-06-09 15:09:46 +0000 UTCCOMPANY/PUBLICATION: L.A. TACO
What's up, freelance writers. L.A. TACO is currently accepting pitches! Specifically, we are emphasizing pitches for local, neighborhood-based food culture and stories that have to do with transit and gentrification. This means profiles of important neighborhood food figures, guides and lists on the best things to eat in your 'hood', and anything that shows the nuances and intersections of tacos and the other unique dishes of our beautiful city. Join our street-level media revolution and be a part of James Beard Award-winning food news coverage. We are proud to be a stepping stone for first-time writers without experience and of course, our rates are competitive. As long as you are passionate and have something to say, we are here to listen and our team is here to give you a shot. No pitch is too wild. Send all pitches to editor@lataco.com
CONFIDENTIAL NOTE: Reports indicate that this opportunity will pay $150-$250 per article. It is recommended that you discuss the rate(s) with the editor upon the acceptance of your pitch.
