Pivotal Marketing Partners, LLC is seeking a Senior Proposal Writer to join our team as a sub/consultant. This flexible position requires 20-40 hours per week, depending on workload.
As an independent contractor, you'll enjoy the freedom to set your own schedule and work from your home office. With oversight from our managing partners, you'll collaborate on delegated projects with strict deadlines.
The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of experience in the AEC industry. Proficiency in Adobe InDesign and Illustrator is a must, along with strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and a passion for impactful communications. We value creativity, proactivity, professionalism, and responsiveness.
Technical editing and writing skills are crucial. You'll create and edit professional documents. Pay ranges from $60 to $85 per hour, with increases based on communication, performance, and project management abilities.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead and execute RFQ/RFP responses and develop presentation strategies and designs.
- Analyze RFQ/RFPs to guide content creation and ensure compliance.
- Edit proposals for readability, consistency, clarity, and compliance.
- Foster strong relationships and deliver accurate and compelling work.
- Collaborate with technical professionals on various document types.
- Handle formatting, layout, writing, and proofreading.
- Utilize graphic design skills to enhance proposals.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- AEC experience, preferably in heavy civil/infrastructure construction.
- 8+ years of marketing communication/visual communication and/or proposal experience.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign and Illustrator).
- Strong technical editing skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing/Communications, Journalism, English, or equivalent.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and active listening skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and presentation development skills.
- Visually driven with artistic design opinions.
- Self-motivated with strong time management and organizational abilities.
- Collaborative mindset for diverse professional backgrounds.
- Ability to manage multiple projects with high standards and quality focus.
