COMPANY/PUBLICATION: AGATE DEVELOPMENT

Educational content development company seeks insurance experts to write continuing professional education courses for an industry leader in insurance pre-licensing exam prep. This is remote, contract work. Total compensation, upon project completion, is $1500.00. The courses we develop focus on state-specific insurance law. We are seeking assistance updating content for the following states:

Louisiana; Kansas; Nevada; Hawaii; Rhode Island; South Dakota; Wyoming; Vermont; Kentucky (local expertise preferred); and District of Columbia.

This is a time-sensitive project with work commencing immediately to be finalized by mid-July 2023.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Writers will be responsible for updating existing content, doing their own research, and documenting their sources.
• Writers will update or write new course content, questions, answers, and explanations in alignment with state exam outlines and applicable laws and rules.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

• Relevant industry (Life, Health, Property, Casualty, Personal Lines) experience including mentoring or team building within the prior five years.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Insurance License, CPCU or CLU designation is a plus.
• Experience with teaching, course writing, curriculum development or content creation in a higher education environment a plus.
