Writers wanted (HVAC marketing) | $500 to $700 per article

We're looking for two writers to write 2 long-form blogs each/month (typically between 1,500 - 3,000 words) about marketing a HVAC service business. The budget per article is around $500 - $750. This gig is expected to run for 3 months, but may be extended beyond that. Because we aim to integrate an element of thought leadership into every blog, we are only looking for writers with at least some experience working in/or marketing to the US home services industry. To be as transparent as possible, we evaluate freelance candidates by: (1.) Strength and relevance of sample(s) provided (most important): Your sample should show the ability to write thought leadership optimized for search—preferably in our industry. (2.) Subject-matter expertise: It's a plus if you have firsthand experience working in a home services marketing role. (3.) Rates (least important): We're more than willing to pay fair rates for quality content, so please don't ask for less than you're worth. That said, we're looking to maximize our budget when possible, so we'd be lying if we said it wasn't a decision factor.
TL:DR: We prioritize expertise, and try to balance it with rates that fall within our budget. This gig starts in July, and you'll be contacted by the 28th of June if you're selected.
