Given it is 2023 and I am STILL hearing “color blindness” touted as some virtue to strive for, would like to announce loudly I want your VERY NOT “COLORBLIND” writing about beer for Final Gravity, A Beer Zine.

Send me your tired, your poor, your reflections on beer and community as a BIPOC. Seriously. Issue 01 included my reflections on beer and the weirdness of the 4th of July being my favorite holiday with my Mexican-American family.

Talk to me about the role of beer in your life, and infuse your race and culture in the piece. The zine is meant for intimate stories, so give me that, and don’t worry about having to whitewash your experience. We’ve all been there, but this is not that.
