I’m still looking for a few writers to write buying guides for Popular Science next month. They’re mostly research-based and pay $450 per story. Email stan@popsci.com if you’re interested and have some experience. We have a variety of weird topics, but they’re fun.
ABOUT POPULAR SCIENCE: Popular Science points readers to the wonders of science, technology, and the future. A publication of Camden Media, Popular Science aims to answer the largest questions of our universe—from skunks to space robots, and primates to climates.
APPLICATION CHECKLIST: Unless otherwise stated, include (1) a cover letter explaining how you meet the requirements for the job/gig; (2) a one-paragraph summary of your relevant experience, credentials and publication credits; (3) your strongest clips or links to published work; and (4) a resume detailing your writing experience.
