We're looking for pieces on Black Art! How is/will AI affect our art? How is the Writer's Guild strike affecting our art? If you're a writer and/or artist with an idea for a piece that fits our audience, send us a pitch!

We're seeking pitches for pieces that analyze and/or amplify the concerns and values of Black women, femmes, and folks from the Southeast. We're especially seeking writers who identify as Black, LGBQ, disabled, women, POC. Email pitches to: kswan@loveblackgirls.org

• Learn more about the publication: The Lighthouse's blog, Black Girl Times, offers Black creatives a platform to discuss their experiences and those of southern Black girls, women and gender non-conforming people on The Lighthouse’s website. Through this project, creatives use writing, photography and other mediums to underscore the organization’s mission, further elevating those voices on matters ranging from reproductive justice to music, economic justice to pop culture.
