I am looking for a Latinx Heritage Month essay for Viator. Rate is $250. Deadline will be first few days of September. Must have a travel hook. Email lcocking at tripadvisor dot com!

Some ideas: travelling in Latin America, cultural events and festivals, reconnecting with roots and heritage, returning to birth/home/parents country after long period abroad/for first time—content should be overall inspirational and have an emotional hook/resolution.

I strongly encourage submissions from Central and South American writers, as well as Caribeñxs. Please provide links to previously published work when pitching.

And those are just ideas I dashed off in like two seconds, please don't feel limited by them in the slightest.

Final note: some places for which I lack coverage = Bolivia, Ecuador, like all of Central America, Paraguay, Uruguay, Puerto Rico and The Dominican Republic.
