Ben Beckett, Editor at Dollars & Sense, is looking for pitches:
I am looking for pitches for Dollars & Sense. We pay for researched or reported articles on the economy from a left/progressive POV. Email beckett@dollarsandsense.org. A few ideas I'd love to see:
- Economists say the economy is going great; voters don't. What gives?
- What the heck is the Fed doing? Is it even still about inflation?
- Macro and environmental effects of EVs and chips. A new scramble for raw materials?
- AI hype or reality?
- Effects of Biden bringing back student debt on the economy and on inequality in particular
- What would it actually look like, economically, to meet the CO2 reduction goals IPCC and others say are imperative?
- And more
Rates: $250 for shorter pieces, $450 for features
