Grace DeGraaf, Associate Editor at Insider, is looking for pitches:
I'm looking to fill up my fall pipeline with unique, argument-driven pieces on the economy, tech, work, education, and climate! The Insider Discourse team covers the biggest questions of the day in business and the economy. 1500-2000 words.
WHAT I'M LOOKING FOR:
- new angles on topics everyone is wondering about
- identifying and explaining a new trend in the workplace or business
- an unexpected solution to a big problem
- expert analysis/reporting on something people are misunderstanding or aren't aware of and should be
We do reported pieces, essays, and data-driven analyses. Rates depend on scope and experience, but generally vary from $0.50/word to $1/word. You can send pitches to me. Our focus is on the US, so please do not pitch stories without a US angle.
