Remote Senior Copywriter wanted (growth marketing) | $49 to $80 per hour

We are looking for a Senior Copywriter to join the Growth Marketing team with a strong copywriting background. This person will support our Growth Marketing efforts across multiple email, notification, and social channels. This candidate is strategic, detail-oriented from conception to final delivery, a creative problem solver, and can provide creative direction. You’ll be applying storytelling, tone of voice, and language to effectively communicate messages to online audiences across social platforms and product communication channels.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Partner daily with cross-functional team members including Product Marketing Managers, Designers, and external vendor partners
• Ability to concept and produce work that is original and adheres to brand and copy guidelines
• Craft briefs and lead copy work for emails, ads, and in-product channels
• End-to-end copy experimentation setup
• Analyze copy experimentation results, sharing insights and iterating copy based on learnings
• Ensure the highest quality of craft in all aspects of execution
• Write copy and create final messaging to live across a variety of emails, in-product channels, display ads, push and in-app notifications, events promotion, and social platforms

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

• 4+ years of experience in the creative industry or equivalent work environment

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize, manage asset spreadsheets, and shift quickly from one project to the next to ensure projects are delivered on time
• Strong portfolio showcasing a wide range of high-quality conceptual and storytelling work
• A social-first thinker, keeping a pulse on the latest social platform trends and technologies
• Deliver assets that adhere to brand guidelines and communicate effectively
• Self-motivated, flexible, and process-driven with the ability to accept and receive feedback and build on it
• Understands and accepts the need to revise and amend copy in response to feedback and quantitative data
• Reviews performance and uses insights to inform future creative
• Passionate about creating compelling, engaging content
• Experience writing product copy
• Strong communication skills and the ability to thrive independently and as a team member in a creative, friendly, and fast-paced remote environment
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Fluent in MS Office and Google Suite

COMPENSATION:

• $60.00/hr - $80.00/hr SF Bay Area and NY Metro
• $56.40/hr - $75.20/hr Washington DC, California (except Bay Area), CT, MA, NH, NJ, NY (except metro), OR, RI, VT, WA
• $52.80/hr - $70.40/hr AK, AZ, KE, HI, MD, ME, PA, TX, VA, WV
• $49.20/hr - $65.60/hr AL, AR, CO, FL, GA, IA, ID, IL, IN, KS, KY, LA, MI, MN, MO, MS, MT, NC, ND, NE, NM, NV, OH, OK, SC, SD, TN, UT, WI, WY
