Layla Turner, Project Editor (Lifestyle) at APL Media, is looking for pitches:

It's happening! We're now planning our Christmas content, so are looking for pitches from both PR's and writers and email me on layla.turner@aplmedia.co.uk

We're looking for food, drink and travel stories (both UK and overseas), with a festive angle. This could be anything from drinks recipes, to tips on how to nail your Xmas dinner from a chef, to restaurants with special festive offerings, or more complex features about why some families prefer to eat out on Xmas day, rather than cooking at home. For travel, think where to go for a cosy staycation in the UK, or the best places to see Santa around the world, or traditions from around the world.

Finally, we'll also of course be running gift guides for a number of supplements in national newspapers. These are yet to be refined, but most likely spanning home, food, beauty/wellbeing, kids and pets. Look forward to hearing from you all!

Rate: £150 for 600 words
