Taylor Andrews, Wellness Editor at PopSugar, is looking for pitches:
I am looking for some new, fresh pitches for POPSUGAR's franchise "Good Sex." This series features people's hottest, horniest sexual experiences in an anonymous, personal essay format. We're looking for these pitches to have some sort of deeper meaning or theme above just being great sex.
For example, one person wrote about how they came to terms with their chronic pain during a specific sexual experience. Another one touched on how they were able to process their divorce by learning to masturbate. Another person talked about how they were able to have better sex after accepting their gender identity.
This series has been running for a while, so please browse through our list of already-published Good Sex essays to make sure your pitch does not rep.
Some ideas and thought starters:
- Any sexual experience around Halloween/fall/Thanksgiving/December holidays
- Using a remote control vibrator with a partner
- Exploring a fetish
- Parents prioritizing their sexual pleasure
- Tantric sex
- Anal sex
- Dominatrix
- BDSM
- Group sex
We pay $200 for each essay. Please pitch me at taylor.andrews@voxmedia.com.
