Calling all contributors: we want your voice in a new adventure magazine!

Background Magazine is an independent print magazine focused on compelling adventure stories from around the world. It's a premium, high-quality publication with limited print copies available. We will feature exceptional storytelling accompanied by stunning visuals captured by our world-class team of photographers. Our journal speaks to individuals who are passionate about adventure storytelling, photography, action sports, and sustainability.

Background Mag is on the lookout for writers, journalists, athletes, and photographers to contribute to our very first print issue. If you've got an awesome story to share, check out our submission guidelines. Join us in creating an epic debut issue! Rates typically start at $0.50 per word. Payment to contributors is issued immediately upon publication.
