Pitches wanted (travel, native crafts, hidden gems) (worldwide) | ~$100 per article
Added 2023-09-22 14:44:46 +0000 UTCCOMPANY/PUBLICATION: RESONATE
Deadline: 24 September 2023
Emily Cathcart, Content Manager at Resonate, is looking for pitches:
Pitch call: seeking proposals for stories, some for quick turnaround. 600-1000 words, €100. Themes: 1) native crafts; 2) hidden gems/in my backyard. Email content [at] ethicaltravelportal [dot] com
What speciality handcrafts or artisan goods are made in your home village, town, state or country? What stories revolve around their traditional production and what is their place in your culture? Can we meet the people who make them?
That ‘backyard’ is literal, but I’d consider anything you think might be suitable for the platform.
Open to experienced writers or new storytellers looking to give it a go — worldwide, all welcome! Whether they’re natives of a place, blow-ins, nomads… if they have an authentic story to tell and it fits our guidelines we can talk.
Check out https://resonate.travel/writers-guidelines/, look at the story types via the Read page, then feel free to email your pitch(es) to content [at] ethicaltravelportal [dot] com
Deadline: End of this week, Sunday 24 September, for this current callout. But there will be more, with the next coming up in a few weeks' time.
