Remote UX Writer wanted | $80 to $110 per hour

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

• Work closely with product, design, engineering, and localization teams to solve user and business needs
• Provide clear, concise, functional, and on-brand product messaging that enriches the end-to-end experience, including microcopy, onboarding, information architecture, feature naming, and more
• Test and iterate on language and positioning approaches
• Manage projects independently, presenting work to senior leadership and keeping stakeholders in the loop throughout
• Support the Senior Content Design Manager in establishing and evolving our UX writing processes, patterns, guidelines, and documentation
• Work quickly and effectively across multiple projects at once

REQUIREMENTS:

• 3+ years of experience working on product copy
• Portfolio of real-world examples — and the ability to articulate your approach, challenges, and learnings
• A desire to shape processes and create clarity from ambiguity
• Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and manage stakeholders to reach final solutions that meet both user and business needs
• Proficiency working in Figma
• Self-motivation and effective time management
• Humility, empathy, and open-minded curiosity
• Reliable internet connection and computer hardware that meets the company’s IT security standards - (the company will require you to install a read-only OSQuery to ensure hard-drive encryption and antivirus software are enabled before accessing our network, compatible with MacOS 11 or Windows 10 + 64-bit or higher only)

• Experience with content research and testing methods
• Experience writing for global audiences with a localization-conscious approach
• Knowledge of accessibility, inclusion, and/or trauma-informed design best practices

$80 - $110 an hour

A successful candidate’s compensation will be determined based on various factors such as skills, experience, training and credentials, as well as other business purposes or needs. It is not typical for a candidate to be hired at or near the top of the range of their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the factors and circumstances of each case.
