Remote Scientific and Medical Writer wanted | $40+ per hour (part-time)

We are looking for an experienced healthcare provider who is passionate about Functional, Integrative, and nutritional medicine.

The American Academy of Functional Health is growing and we are looking for a Scientific & Medical Researcher to write exciting articles, review research and create treatment protocols, and bring awareness to the power of integrative, Functional, and natural medicine.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Review research, create, and our database on nutrition, herbal medicine, and Functional Medicine
• Write professional articles
• Assist the Educational Director with Student activities at the academy

REQUIREMENTS:

• Have an advanced degree (Master’s or Doctorate) in Nutrition, Functional Medicine, or Naturopathic medicine.
• Have a minimum of 3 years of experience in clinical practice using nutrition and herbal medicine for the treatment of chronic conditions.
• Have experience with reviewing Functional medicine labs, such as mitochondrial function/organic acids, environmental medicine, GI analysis, Dutch test, and/or genetic tests
• Have experience with research review and writing medical articles
• Great written and verbal communication skills
• Have a stable connection and sufficient internet speed for video communication

WORKING LOCATION AND SCHEDULE:

• Remote/online
• Part-time with an option to increase to full time
• Flexible schedule
• Starting at 8 hours per week
• Availability to start

PAY:

• Starting at $40 per hour.
• Increase in pay depending on educational and clinical experience, as well as productivity
• Contract Employment (W-9)
