This writing job is for two different businesses: building contractor and carpet cleaner. For the latter, we don't need a lot and will start with a few on maintaining wood floors, and then some that target commercial floor cleaning needs.
The building contractor blog will start by addressing questions homeowners have about building and remodeling when they are at or near the bottom of the funnel, and then eventually move into more general building ideas and inspiration blogs. Many will be simple "idea book" type posts as well as case study articles on the clients' own projects.
You will work with an SEO who will provide a suggested creative brief to make your job easier (but your own ideas and creativity is welcome), and the owner who may also provide guidance as needed. We need 4 blogs a month to start for about 4 months, then move into 2-4 a month. Typical length will be 500 on the short end to 1500 words. Most of the information we'll cover is already available online. You're welcome to use chatgpt to collect information, but if you do, then we want you to put your own creative spin on it and make it relevant and engaging for our audience.
We are offering $.10/word to someone whose talents don't require us to do our own copyediting or rewrites. The ideal candidate will have related experience in this field.
