Green Central Banking is a leading non-profit media news site focused on examining the role of central banks, sustainable green finance and climate change. Our mission is to cover and examine the work of central bankers, financial supervisors and financial policy makers in accelerating the transition to a post-carbon economy with relevant news, analysis and research.
We are looking for writers to join our in-house team, whose main responsibilities will be contributing to the weekly output of news, developing research summaries and keeping on top of the latest developments in macroprudential and monetary finance. Journalism experience is preferred, as are excellent writing skills, a good command of written English, and a curiosity and developing knowledge of central banking and global green finance. The existing team is based in Europe and the United States but we are seeking to increase coverage of central banking in Asia Pacific.
Writers are hired on a consultancy basis with part-time, flexible hours and day rate is £400 or equivalent. Applications from under-represented areas of society are also hugely encouraged.
