Remote Ecommerce Writer wanted (toys and games) | $2,250-$2,500 per month

Dexerto is looking for a freelance ecommerce writer to join our editorial team until the end of 2023. You will produce articles about board games, trading card games, as well as toys and merchandise related to pop culture.

Working closely with our ECommerce Editor you will be writing news, features and guides about products that a consumer can purchase, earning Dexerto commission through affiliation. That will include things like board games, trading cards games, Lego sets, Funko Pops, Pokemon Squishmallows, and more!

You would jump on the latest announcements and also be across all the biggest deals in gaming. Therefore a broad knowledge of video games and TV and Movies is essential, whilst knowledge of board and trading card games would be advantageous.

SEO knowledge is also very important.

REQUIREMENTS

• Understanding and knowledge of Tabletop and Trading Card Gaming, Video Games and TV and Movies
• Good writing skills
• Good organization and time management skills
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent attention to detail – able to spot grammatical errors and formatting mistakes
• Great communication skills – able to take instruction and keep various members of the team updated on progress
• Own computing equipment that can run Photoshop or similar programs
• Able to work full-time hours (40) without other education or job commitments
• Experience with Google Sheets and content management systems, photo editing skills
• SEO and affiliation knowledge is desirable
• Some writing experience is desirable
