THE JOB

The Sr UX Writer is an experienced writer and content designer, who will work closely with the Vossi design system team to build and maintain content strategy and key documentation for our DLS. You will have the opportunity to help shape and define how we talk about our design system and component libraries, in order to serve the product design team and our cross functional partners alike. You will be a key member of the team and a strong advocate for content design. In this role you will have the opportunity to support the entirety of CNN’s digital experience, one of the most trusted news organizations in the world.

WHAT YOU’LL BE WORKING ON

The Daily

• Help to build and maintain voice and copy guidelines for our DLS documentation site.
• Manage design system documentation hub in zeroheight.
• Partner closely with product design, engineering, and product.
• Share and solicit feedback from your peers in service of building the best products.

The Essentials

• 8+ years experience in content-focused role with 4+ years in-product writing experience.
• Experience building style guides and language systems across products and platforms.
• A portfolio demonstrating human-centered design thinking and solutions.
• Excellent presentation, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Exceptional command of grammar and punctuation.
• Adept at “getting things done” in an environment of ambiguity and opportunity.
• Comfortable in design system tools (Figma, zeroheight) and project management tools (Jira, Confluence).
