Send me feature pitches to run on Inverse between now and the end of the year. I'm open to anything in TV, Film, Gaming, Science or Tech, but I'm specifically looking for year-end pieces similar to these 2:

A bit more context on the above: I'm hoping for features and essays about the best... thing of 2023, whether that's a video game, a movie, a gadget, or a scientific discovery. These can be reported deep dives or well-written essays. The deadline for these pitches is October 31.

As for rates, I love to pay $1000 for a deeply reported feature with multiple sources and a well-written narrative. For single interviews, rates range from $250-$500 depending on the source. Medium-sized talk-of-the-town style features can be anywhere from $400 to $750.
