Sean Captain; Executive Editor at Worth Media Group, is looking for pitches:

Worth are looking for fresh and diverse voices for our upcoming spring and summer issues. Our coverage falls in two main areas:

• Goodies for our high-net worth readers, such as automobiles, wine and spirits, fashion, spas, luxury travel
• Thoughtful pieces to engage and motivate them to use their resources to address key issues of the day, such as climate, diversity and inclusion, health, community development, philanthropy and more.

We commission single stories, from two-page front-of- book bonbons to 10-page features. Rates for print start around 50 cents per word, but depend on experience and difficulty of assignment. (Online-only article rates may be lower.) Looking writers with at least a year of experience working for a respected publication. Topic areas include finance, luxury goods, travel, food and beverage, environment, philanthropy, tech (broadly), cities, diversity and inclusion, health, fitness, sports, and more.

We would like to increase contributions from under-represented groups: cultural, ethnic, racial, LGBTQ+, etc. But all applicants are welcome. This is remote work. Writers can be based anywhere. Must have professional published clips (not personal blog posts, LinkedIn essays, etc).

Please send at least three links to sean.captain@worth.com in addition to your pitches. Each pitch must begin with a proposed headline and deck. Add an additional paragraph or two to explain in more detail. Subject line should be "Pitch:" followed by a proposed headline.
