Writers wanted (mental health) | $100-$250 CAD per script

Interested in working for the largest mental health Youtube channel in the world? This is your chance!

We are looking for writers who know how to write engaging scripts for our YouTube channel.

The topics range from mental health to relationships and other topics that our fans would be interested in. Each project (video) will range from 4-5 minutes.

Our audience are individuals who come to us for validations, and emotional support. Anything that makes them feel a little better about themselves or educates them about a certain mental health condition would be beneficial for them.

Other than competitive compensation, you will have flexibility to work when and wherever you want!

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Brainstorming topics that will go viral.If it’s on a topic we’ve done, you must tell us how you will make yours more engaging
  Topics should appeal to our fans emotional needs and interest
  
• Researching the data on Youtube to see if your video will be viral. This includes watching existing videos of other channels or our own to come up with ways to be innovative and more engaging.
• Producing the skeleton/angle for the video of theHOOK
  The bullet points
  Engagement strategies you will use in the script (Quiz, Story telling, etc.)
  
• Pitching ideas every Monday of each week, so we can approve or request changes
• Finishing draft 5 days after approval
• Implementing the changes made by the editor or directors
• Making post iteration as needed by animators or other parties
• May occasionally be paired with another writer

QUALIFICATIONS

• Having a Portfolio of work that demonstrates a history of scripts contributing to videos with millions of views (Preferred)
• Excellent storytelling abilities and a knack for creating compelling narratives.
• Ability to adapt writing style to suit various entertainment topics and audiences
• YouTube Obsessed
• Be data driven & analytical
• Be highly organized with strong prioritization skills
• Be creative, experimental, curious and willing to learn

COMPENSATION

• Approved projects will be from anywhere between 100-250$CAD
• You will be able to use the work to showcase in your portfolio that you’ve written scripts for our channel
• We will own the exclusive rights of the script
• You will be credited in video description to prove that you work on it
