Mikala Jamison, Creator of Body Type, is looking for pitches:

Body Type publishes essays about body image, the power of exercise unrelated to looks, beauty standards, eating disorder recovery, body discourse in pop culture, the nuances of body change (weight loss/gain, aging, etc.) and more. I am looking for essay pitches along those lines.

I'm but a humble newsletter with ~3,000 subscribers, but as you can see on my most popular posts they're very engaged. People share things widely. Discoverability is much easier. I got 29,000 views in the past 30 days. Plus I will edit you with great care and pay you immediately.

Send pitches to bodytype@substack.com. Please put "PITCH" in subject line. Paying $250 for 800-1,000 words (the rate I've seen from other, larger Substack newsletters, for what it's worth). Hope to hear from you!
