Julie Nordskog, Women's Editor at Ride Texas, is looking for pitches:
Ride Texas, a quarterly print and digital motorcycle magazine, is accepting pitches on an ongoing basis. Our readers and writers ride motorcycles in Texas and surrounding states.
At this time, we’re looking especially for unbiased gear reviews, restaurant reviews, and motorcycle industry trends. The Spring 2024 issue will feature the total solar eclipse, related events, and Texas Hill Country lodging.
The pitch deadline for our Spring issue is January 15, 2024 (for publication mid-February). Writers may request a sample digital magazine from squirrel@ ridetexas.com.
Ride Texas pays $125 to $400 per print article, depending on length and depth of research. Blog posts pay $75 for an estimated 500- to 700-word post. Please note that no articles will be accepted without photographs. (Quality smart phone photographs will be considered.)
