Remote Medical Writer wanted (to create content, infographics, email newsletters, etc.) | $75 to $80 per hour

COMPANY/PUBLICATION: VALIDATION ASSOCIATES

We are seeking a talented and highly motivated medical writer to join our team. As our engagement platform medical writer, you will be responsible for creating scientific content, aligned with business strategies. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and a passion for delivering engaging content.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Create high-quality content including infographics, social media content, and email newsletters.
• With project manager, create and maintain a content calendar to ensure consistent delivery new resources and information, for both website and social media content
• Optimize content for search engine optimization and recommend/ implement best practices for keyword usage, metadata, and internal linking.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest marketing trends, tools, and best practices, and make recommendations for improvements and innovative strategies

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree in scientific discipline, terminal scientific degree preferred
• Background in Neuroscience or Nephrology required
• Minimum of 2 years previous experience as a medical writer
• Experience finding, reading, interpreting, and presenting scientific and clinical data
• Experience with graphic design
• Experience with reference management and copywrite permissions
• Strong writing and editing skills, with a keen eye for detail and grammar.
• Excellent organizational and project management skills with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
• Excellent computer skills with demonstrated expertise working with the Microsoft suite of programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, TEAMS, OneNote, and Outlook) and Adobe Acrobat
• Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
