As a Contract B2B writer at Aavia, you will produce copy catering to a medical audience to gain the interest of doctors and health systems and/or are comfortable adapting to other B2B writing, to improve all points of contact in the process.
Aavia is building an exciting, first-of-its-kind experience within the ovarian hormone space that will require you to utilize prior B2B writing experience to guide doctors and health experts through the benefits of recommending Aavia to their patients.
Hormones have long been misunderstood, overlooked, and conversations around them avoided. Defined by their skepticism of the institutions that failed them, the hyper cognitive Gen Z isn’t waiting for anyone to lead on issues, they’re leading themselves, but they embrace the brands that help them do it. Now, they are looking to their doctors for further support. 50%+ Aavia members say they are “very likely” to stay with a provider who considers their hormone cycle.
YOU WILL BE PERFECT FOR THE ROLE IF:
- You are looking for a mission driven company that is passionate about positively impacting people’s lives
- You have experience with B2B writing (email templates, website copy, training material, conference applications, case studies, research papers, etc.)
- You have a good understanding of doctor interests and needs, proactively researching based on our company and offering of how Aavia can support doctors
- You have prior experience writing for the doctor audience (Gynecologists, Naturopaths, Health Systems) using medical language and trends
- You have expert knowledge of B2B marketing principles
- You strategize your writing with persuasion and storytelling, with a knowledge of sales cycles
- You are comfortable using - and proactively asking for - data to inform messaging decisions
- You are creative, adaptable, and have the ability to work collaboratively with a team
- Bonus: You have prior experience copywriting about women's health, preferably for a women’s health brand, and know how to take complex scientific topics and make them personal and digestible
AS OUR PRIMARY B2B WRITER YOU WILL BE SOMEONE WE CAN COUNT ON TO:
Own:
- All email template and website copy for B2B elements such as subject lines, body copy, headers, call to actions, buttons, tab names, etc.
- Doctor landing page content, including our Doctor benefits, value props, awards, medical advisory board, and more, throughout the page
- End-to-end journeys including outreach flows, first touch points on website, and email
- Medical reviews of all content with our medical advisors to ensure all content in email, website, research pieces, and conference or training material is science and research backed
Teach:
- Provide thought leadership in B2B writing and bring your passion for doctor-facing writing to motivate and inspire on a day-to-day basis and stay focused on our audience
Learn:
- Partner with marketing and design to determine best practices in driving conversions, engagement, calls booked, referrals, etc. and crafting intuitive, actionable, and easy-to-understand doctor flows
- Understanding the value proposition of our app to different B2B stakeholders
Improve:
- Copywriting best practices, including proofreading and ensuring there are no grammatical errors or typos
- Defining our B2B brand voice and strategy
- Conversions, engagement, calls booked, referrals, etc. by testing and implementing best copywriting practices for our target audience
- Supporting copy on our landing page and outreach email templates
Bonus: you have consumer-facing UX writing experience to serve as UX writer too.
