FREELANCE POSITION OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a talented and creative freelance Copywriter to join our team. As a Copywriter at The Shade Store, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our brand's voice and storytelling, ensuring that our products and services are presented with elegance, sophistication, and a deep understanding of our discerning clientele.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Write engaging and persuasive copy for various marketing materials, including product descriptions, website content, blog posts, social media, email campaigns, and advertising materials.
• Develop and maintain a consistent and cohesive brand voice that aligns with our luxury positioning and resonates with our target audience.
• Create detailed and captivating product descriptions that highlight the unique features, materials, and craftsmanship of our window treatments.
• Develop captivating stories and narratives around our products and services, connecting with the emotions and aspirations of our customers.
• Optimize web content to improve search engine visibility and drive organic traffic to our website.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, marketing, and sales, to ensure that messaging is aligned with marketing campaigns and product launches.
• Ensure all written content is error-free, adheres to grammar and style guidelines, and is consistently high-quality.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Marketing, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Proven experience as a Copywriter in a luxury or high-end consumer goods industry.
• Exceptional writing and editing skills with a strong portfolio of work demonstrating creativity and attention to detail.
• A deep understanding of luxury branding and the ability to convey it through written content.
• Knowledge of SEO best practices and the ability to optimize content accordingly.
• Familiarity with digital marketing and e-commerce platforms.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently and meet deadlines

Please note that this freelance opportunity is expected to start in January at a rate between $80-$90/per hour, flexible and commensurate with experience.
