Rob Carpenter, Head of Marketing and Growth at ButterDocs, is looking for pitches:
Pitch ButterDocs on your own ongoing written column/beat on writing! ButterDocs will be launching a media property for writers of all types, focused on original content on how to be a better writer and stories for writers by writers. We are prioritizing co-written and serialized content. Pitch us on an ongoing column or "beat" that you and at least one other person will write, edit, and own. The content will be under your own byline and you will be expected to promote your content to your audience. Pay is $500 to $750 per piece per contributor.
To be considered, do the following:
- Share the topic or idea for your ongoing column/beat. You will not be assigned topics in this role. You will be writing an ongoing series on this topic with you choosing the stories you write. Bonus points if you apply with a branded name for your series.
- You can refer 1-3 people that you would like to produce this series with. We are prioritizing content series with multiple co writers, subject matter experts, creators, and editors that work together on pieces.
- Please share the size of your audience by channel (LinkedIn following, Twitter, YouTube, email newsletter, etc.)
Note that we are not considering empty applications. You must share the above information to be considered.
