The Content & Creative team at Wizehire is looking for experienced contractor writers!

As a freelance writer, your primary responsibility is crafting high-value articles and white papers for human resources professionals and job seekers. Your main objective is to guarantee that your assignments meet user expectations by providing helpful and valuable insights, aiming to surpass the quality of competitor content.

Your work will be firmly grounded in SEO best practices, aiming to achieve the top rank for our target queries. You will receive a detailed content brief for each assignment, including keywords. Strict adherence to our editorial guidelines is your path to success here. Furthermore, writers will incorporate revisions and adjustments based on feedback received from our Content Editors.

$.20 - $.30 per published word

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Write up to four articles per month and possibly more in the future.
• Write content that meets Google's guidelines for helpful content.
• Start with up to two editing rounds to meet publishing expectations and deadlines with the goal of submitting publishable work without revisions within two months.
• Producing content that aligns perfectly with our guidelines encompassing voice, tone, grammatical and factual accuracy, readability, expertise, authority, and trustworthiness.
• Crafting content that fully meets user intent by being insightful, valuable, relevant, engaging, and surpassing competitor materials' quality.
• Conducting thorough research and cross-referencing multiple online sources to maintain factual accuracy and originality in the content.
• Guaranteeing the absence of grammatical errors in all written materials before being sent to editors.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Demonstrated track record in web content creation, coupled with a passion for content development.
• A solid understanding of SEO principles
• 5+ years of experience in crafting and editing web content
• Experience writing for small businesses
• Proficiency in tools like Grammarly and Google Docs is a plus
• Deep experience in the human resource space is a plus
• Familiarity with the project management platform Monday.com is a plus

COMPENSATION

Compensation ranges from $0.20 to $0.30 per published word, commensurate with experience and performance.
