• Learn more about the publication: The Urban History Association was founded in Cincinnati in 1988 for the purpose of stimulating interest and forwarding research and study in the history of the city in all periods and geographical areas. It is affiliated with the International Planning History Society. The mission of the UHA is to foster connections among the diverse, interdisciplinary field of urban history, for the benefit of its members’ scholarship and professional development, and to disseminate urban-related scholarship to the broadest possible audience.
